Express Subaru Service Technician

Williams Subaru is looking for an Express Technician to join our team! This is an entry level opportunity within our service department to learn our products and train. If you are a recent Technical school graduate, have been working as a lubrication tech, or interested in car repair this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to express lube guidelines
  • Perform lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints
  • Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders as dispatched
  • Perform vehicle inspections to determine maintenance needs
  • Report all necessary repairs to service advisor
  • Install completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle
  • Check battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed
  • Check coolant level and refills as necessary
  • Ensure that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints
  • Check fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
  • Provide estimates for needed repairs
  • Performing Quality Control checks to ensure repairs are complete
  • Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
  • Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times
  • Communicating directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees
  • Participating in continual proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading automotive technologies and processes.

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

Subaru Technician/Mechanic

Williams Subaru is looking for a certified Subaru technician/mechanic to join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
  • Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Subaru technician
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • A fast learner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • Must have a valid driver's license
